I grew up on that lake.

I learned to ski on it. I built my family around it. And my family helped create it.

Back in the early 1920’s, my great-grandfather C.M. Railey led the logging crew that cleared the land that would become Deep Creek Lake. He didn’t sell real estate here. He helped build the place. The lake was completed in 1925, and the Railey family never left. 

His family went on to build the first stone cottages on the lake. 

My grandparents, Sis and Jim Railey, founded Railey Realty in 1974. And today, I'm the third generation to carry that name and that mission.

So when I say I know this market, I'm not talking about six months of data. I'm talking about a hundred years of roots.
